Do women fear six pack abs? Not really, it is now becoming a trend for women, not just men. In fact women really want a six pack abs and it’s the other way around, they fear of not having it. It adds a total perspective on women who have this abs attach to their stomach. Well as the statement goes what men can do, women can definitely do as well. Come to think about it, women love to have those skinned tone down abdomens to look good in their dress. But keep in mind that the process would require quite an effort, but it can be done as long as you follow these simple tips below.

A good set of cardio

Cardio exercise would definitely be needed to promote fat and calorie burn. We all know that fat and the bulging belly ruins everything in getting a six pack abs. You should not worry too much though, getting a six pack abs and losing weight is actually correlated. You can’t get the one without having the other. As it relates to cardio exercise, it promotes a good way to decrease your overall weight and trims down your figure at the same time. Cardio should be performed in a good manner and it is safe so you can do it daily for about an hour.

A good choice of diet

Of course diet is an important part of the whole process and you have to take note of what exactly you eat during the day. Eating too much fast food or making it your main meals would not at all help you in your endeavor. You should be able to take an alternative diet that promotes small frequent meals with a good source of protein, fat and carbs during each meal; It is advisable to stick to lean meat like tuna, chicken, egg whites.

The best source of carbohydrates are whole grains and fruits and vegetables. During the period of forming the six pack abs you have to decrease the white bread and pasta or any processed foods. Lowering fat intake is ideal, but make sure you maintain intake of good fats found in olive oils and fish.

Quality versus quantity

Quality is much more important in doing abdominal exercises. When talking about quality we mean the way you perform the different exercises. Don’t focus too much on repetition if you still haven’t mastered on how to effectively perform the different exercise. It is best to have an instructor at first to aid you.

Strength training

Strength training or weight lifting will help you in getting a six pack. It would help you stabilize your body and helps you promote proper posture. Also studies have shown that strength training increases metabolic rate as an effect of increased muscle mass. The reason for this is that lean tissue is more active metabolically than fat which leads to more burning of calories. You can see already that forming a six pack abs would lead to weight loss as well.

Water

Drinking water plays a major role in the process and you shouldn’t take it lightly. Remember that dehydration retains water which makes you look bulky. Drinking water would make you feel better instead of being dry and weak. Half to one gallon of water is recommended, especially when you are working out.

Though genetics may also play it’s role but it doesn’t mean that you should be discouraged, it usually only affects the speed of when you’ll have the six pack, nonetheless effort and hard work would be your key to success.
